For
those who do not care to shoot birds, there is ample opportunity to
watch and to photograph them. The Abernethy Nature reserve, which is
owned by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, is about 45
minutes away and includes the internationally famous Loch Garten Osprey
Viewing Centre. Eagles, capercaille, and blackgame are three of the
rarities to be found in the area. Whether or not you are in the right
place at the right time is a matter of luck.
